International masterclass for piano

(universities of music and arts Stuttgart and Zürich) in La Palma (Canary Island/Spain)

Tuesday, 29th of august (arrival) to Tuesday , 5th of september (departure) 2023

Location: The international masterclass takes place in the northwest of the incredibly beautiful island of La Palma. The cultivated "Casa roja" is situated very privately in a large park with great views of the atlantic ocean, hundreds of trees, swimmingpool, and a wonderful Bösendörfer-grandpiano.

Participants:

professional piano students and pianists, and ambitious amateurs.

Intention:

The intention of the masterclass is a succesful combination of intense musical work with several public performances, interesting communication, enjoyment of La Palmas variety, and great nature (ocean, beach, mountains, volcanos ...) and the spanish way of living.

Repertoire:

3 to 4 piano works of different styles. Two of them on professional concert-level!

Fee: 630 €

The fee includes masterclass, accommodation (without food),  rental car (one car for 3 participants) and registration-fee of 140,€ (no refund in case of cancellation). Travel costs to La Palma are not included.

Accommodation: the participants are living in the sunny westside of the island in greatly situaded, comfortable houses or apartments.

Travel: the participant has to organize and pay the journey to La Palma. Airlines serving Santa Cruz de La Palma are: Condor ( for example from and to Frankfurt and Munich every tuesday), Iberia(daily) and Air Berlin. Condor-prices: between 300,€ and 450,€ for a return ticket.
